What are the pros and cons of science posters?

Like at science seminars or research seminars.

Pro's -They inform people about current science events in a direct-to-the-point informative way -Possibly attract people who were not interested in the field to become interested and research the subject further Con's- A tree had to die in order for the poster to live -No one really takes any notice of a science poster anyway
3. Pros: They look good and make people want to see what you have They can convey a lot of information They can clearly show your ideas and thinking. If they are really good they may be worth something Cons: They have been done to death They take a lot of time and effort Don't spill anything on them
